Company Restoration

Limited Company Restorations are able to help you in the restoration of a company that has been removed from the Register of Companies at Companies House.

There are two main reasons why companies are struck off the register:

  1. The required documents, such as accounts or annual return have not been filed at Companies House, or
  2. A director has filed a form 652A or DS01 – striking off application with Companies House.

It is then discovered sometime later that the company needs to recover assets or wishes to continue trading. Once the company is dissolved it no longer legally exists and the assets become Bona Vacantia, (the assets pass to The Crown), the bank account becomes frozen, leases, insurance policies, loan and finance agreements etc may become invalid.

This is where we can help.

There are two ways to restore a company:

  1. Restoration by a Court Order
  2. Administrative Restoration also known as a fast track restoration

We will take care of all the formalities associated with the restoration of your company, liaising with the Courts, if appropriate, and Companies House, drafting, submitting and replying to all forms and correspondence and ensuring that the restoration process proceeds as quickly as possible.

However we cannot assist if the company was incorporated in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

We will provide a professional and competent service, which will include informing you of the progress of the company restoration from time to time, as appropriate.
