Home → Company Restoration by Court Order

This will be the route taken:

If the company is not going to continue trading and is being restored for the sole purpose to recover assets an undertaking will be given by the claimant (that is, the person restoring the company) to The Companies Courts to strike the company off within three to six months after restoration. This will give enough time to recover the funds in a bank account or sell property and so on.

Or the company was struck off because form 652 or DS01 was filed striking the company off the Register at Companies House. The company may or may not continue to trade after restoration.

Further the company may be restored to the Register with a different company name.

Our fees are £350+VAT. There will also be legal costs payable to The Companies Court and The Registrar of Companies as follows:

The way the fees and costs are paid is as follows:

  1. We ask for a cheque payable to Her Majesties Court Services for £130 (no VAT is charged) when the documentation that you are sent to sign is returned to us.
  2. Approximately 4 to 6 weeks later you will be asked for a cheque for £300 (no VAT is charged) payable to The Registrar of Companies.
  3. When the draft restoration order is received we will send it to you to be signed, together with our fee note for £350+VAT. The restoration order is then returned to us with your payment and the company is restored to The Register at Companies House a few days later.

We don’t get paid until the draft restoration order is issued to restore your company, and we are the only restoration agent that does this.
